Unzip the package first – don’t install it!
Select the one of the two zip file according to your Joomla version (1.5.x or 1.6.x)
Unzip the right zip file, and install each of the zip files found in it.
Install each zip file from the package separately.
Install com_smartseo.zip first
Then install smartseo_v0.7C.X.zip

Installation

Requirements

Migration of images and templates is not working on Windows environment.
The component is tested thoroughly with Joomla 1.5.22. It does migrate older versions but if you are running Joomla 1.5.11 or lower you will need some manual corrections on the menus.
How to upgrade

The upgrade process is very simple:

Install Joomla v1.6 Do not to install sample data.
Fill the version 1.5 database information. If you are not sure what to put here you should ask your provider.
Press button “Upgrade”
Test. Before you move to production test your new v1.6 site.

The MoeDesigns Random Article Module allows you to display articles from a specific category or section in a number of fashions. You can have it randomly pull just one article or multiple articles. Our Free WEATHER Module it’s based on Yahoo!Weather RSS Feed which enables you to get up-to-date weather information for your location.
For the Weather RSS feed there are two parameters:

WOEID for Where On Earth Identifiers
UNITS for degrees units (Fahrenheit or Celsius).

Plugin Embed Any Script For Joomla

This plugin allows to embed JS and VB (as well as any other) scripts to your site. It supports embedding both local and remote(CDN) scripts.

With it, you’ll be able to embed a list of scripts to every page of the site. As well, the plugin supports in-article tags – {embedscript}path{/embedscript} to embed scripts only to specific pages. Those tags can be not only in articles, but as well in modules etc – anywhere in html.

Besides frontpage you can embed another list of scripts to adminpanel (but be careful! do no embed anything to joomla administrator interfece unless you are completely sure about what are you doing).
The plugin also contains a list of CDN URLs of popular javascript frameworks in its administrator interface.

If you are going to embed jQuery, you’d better use my jQuery++ Integrator, a special extension that correctly handles possible mootools-jQuery conflict, can add jQuery UI & jQuery Tools as well, supports CDNs and has many other features.

Remember not to put a space beetween path and closing tag: {embedscript} path{/embedscript}. This requirement will be removed in the next version.
